Bourbon Mall

Well, I'm a bit behind on blogging. Sorry for that. I'm in charge of the Lake Providence Junior Auxiliary Tennis Tournament this Satruday, and I've been doing a lot of preparation for that. Hopefully by next week I'll do a little better.

Last Saturday was Wayne's birthday, and Tisha decided to get a group of friends together to go to the Bourbon Mall in Leland, MS. This place is in the MIDDLE of NOWHERE! It felt like we were driving down a dirt turn-road. (Turn-road, for those of you never spending time on a farm, is the dirt road that goes around a field.) We even passed several grain bins along the way. Anyways, All 15 of us loaded up in a 20 passenger bus, and headed off. This was not just any bus. It had blue track lights and leopard carpet. It was hiarious! I was so excited about this trip. I felt like we were going on a basketball road trip, and we'd already won! Tisha, being the great hostess she is, had chocolate covered strawberries, loaded mini potatos, and crab bites. I would've never thought to bring all that. It was all so good!

After we ate, some of the girls decided a little karaoke was in order, so we got down in "Margaritaville". Kellie (in the purple shirt on the right) thoroughly enjoyed herself. Her dream is to be a professional singer, so this was right up her alley.

And of course, no road trip would be complete without a picture of someone sleeping. . . Jeffrey was happy to oblige.
