I just finished reading this book on Saturday, and it was awesome. I love to read, but just haven't really been able to find the time since, oh, around September 26 of last year. I didn't really have the time now either, but I made the time.
This book has a great Christian perspective, and really challenged me to pray, not just as I'm going to bed at night, but throughout the day about everything. I couldn't put it down, and wanted to recommend it to everyone that's interested in a good read and a personal challenge.
She loves to "draw". Anytime she sees any type of writing utensil, she lets us know that she would like it...with a sense of urgency. Luckily she does want a piece of paper to write on. I just hope the wall never looks like a big piece of paper!
She loves toothbrushes and toothpaste. She'll get the toothpaste out of the drawer and bring it to me to refill her toothbrush. One time, while I was brushing my teeth, she licked the toothpaste off the side of my mouth. I'm sensing a future in good dental hygiene!

She loves to dip her food in anything. She downed some chicken strips the other night by dipping them in Raisin' Cane's sauce...really good stuff. She ate a carrot stick in ranch the other night, very impressed. But it doesn't even have to taste good for her to eat it. At lunch a few days ago, she dipped her pizza and cheese sticks in ketchup and strawberry/pear baby food and kept on going. Ugg! I guess I've never tried it before. May be missing out!

She loves to be outside. I guess she's a pretty normal kid in that area. I didn't have a hat for her yet, so she got to where mine all day.
She loves to ride bikes. Jeffrey got me this child seat to go on the back of my bike for Christmas. We've taken it out a couple times when it warmed up some. And she absolutely loved it, cried when we took her off. I'm looking forward to riding with Jeffrey and Gracen again when it warms up a little!

We missed the get together last year because we were in Gatlinburg. But this year, we were back for the festivities. At this party, we not only enjoy each other's company, but we all look forward to the coming attraction...blowing up the Christmas tree. For those of you who have never tried this, it really is a site. They load the tree with firecrackers and a few bottle rockets (pointed away from the crown of course). Light it and boom, New Year's entertainment like nothing you've ever seen. The first year we tried this, a couple of the bottle rockets lost their minds and shot toward the crowd. It was quite a site seeing everyone "run for their lives".
