A Little More Christmas

Christmas Eve
My guys!DSC_0252
The kids and I had so much fun dipping and decorating pretzels for Santa.  We made way too many, so we had too eat a few, too.  DSC_0261
Jackson got a little carried away with his sprinkles.  I taped 4 of the 6 holes closed, but he was still able to add LOTS of sprinkles!DSC_0262
Gracen was on the clean-up crew.  Unfortunately she liked to “clean” the tongs while we were still using them.  DSC_0270
Believe it or not, but there is a pretzel under all those sprinkles!DSC_0274

Had to add this one.  Jackson was putting the tape measure in his “pock” (pocket).DSC_0291_edited-1

Setting out pretzels and milk.  Gracen has progressed!  Last year she wouldn’t come anywhere near the fireplace because that’s where Santa came in the house!  We had a little trouble getting them to stay in bed because they were scared Santa was going to get them.  Jeffrey said Santa would only get bad little boys and girls.  When he asked if either of them had been bad, Gracen said, “Jackson!”  We had a good laugh!DSC_0296

I was surprised that Jackson was the first one that wondered if Santa had eaten their snack.  They were amazed that it was gone!DSC_0013_edited-1

All I have to say about this picture is thank you Sadie!  If Sadie hadn’t held Jackson down, he would not have been in this picture at all!

Our attempt for a great grandkids picture didn’t go very smoothly! Jake was the only Alton grandchild that cooperated.  I actually grabbed Morgan’s arm and put it around Jackson, so she could hold him still…she tried!DSC_0210_edited-1

Even as I’m typing this, Jackson is pointing to these pictures, saying, “NO picture!”DSC_0215_edited-1

Children’s Museum

It’s almost Christmas, and we really wanted the kids to get to take pictures with Santa.  So we got dressed up and went to the Children’s Museum to see Santa and enjoy some other festivities.  All I have to say is pictures with Santa are WAY overrated! The kids cried and clung to our legs as we got close to Santa.  Needless to say, we didn’t get a picture.

Alton Christmas

My mom, dad, Kristy and Brylie came down to see us for our Alton Christmas a few days before Christmas this year.  We all got a ton of great stuff!  Gracen was very expressive as she opened all her presents.  It was so fun to watch her.  After she finished opening her presents, she “helped” the rest of us open ours.DSC_0078

Gracen makes the funniest faces when she holds Jake for pictures.  This one was pretty normal!DSC_0101
Best I could get of all 3.   We tried but couldn’t get one of all 4.DSC_0105
The kids, of course, had a blast with an empty box…Gracen was inside.DSC_0116_edited-1
