Well, photographing 3 kids is kind of a challenge…especially when one of them is a 2 year old with blaring independence! But they just looked so cute in the matching blue check! I was not even worrying about catching Jake smiling in these. Would’ve been happy with all 3 looking in the same direction with a least a resemblance of a smile! Gracen did fantastic and Jake was great considering he was exhausted!!! And the other one…he got his prize a little early just so he would stay in the picture. Better luck next time! Peppie is going to have her hands full the next time she tries to photograph this crew! But I know she’ll bring her back-up helpers and will somehow manage!

Jake: 3 months
I'm amazed that this little man has already been with us 3 months!!! He gave us a rough first couple of months, but we're all doing much better now! I had my doubts at first, but he's turning into a really good, easy baby! This little guy is all smiles, lately! He loves for us to talk to him and to talk back to us. He smiles all the time. He is such a joy! We love him so much and can’t imagine life without him!
I love his crooked little smile he gives on occasion with that sweet dimple!
On his 3 month "birthday" he finally slept from his 10 pm feeding until his 6am feeding. Hallelujah! Jeffrey and I are finally starting to get a little rest. He eats anywhere from 4-5 ounces every 4 hours, but takes 6 ounces at 10pm. He's really hard to burp and will occasionally give a little "extra" with those burps. He will stay awake anywhere from 1&1/2 - 2 hours. Then he loves to nap on his tummy.
If he cries, he is usually hungry, tired, or Jackson has done something to him. He loves to ride in the car! He stops crying almost immediately when the car is put in gear. He is a great rider. If he gets tired, he just drifts off to sleep (very foreign to his sister at this age!). Even if he wakes early, he rides very quietly. I really couldn't ask him to be any better!
He weighs 16 pounds and is roughly 25 inches. He's wearing 3-6 month clothes, but he's about to outgrow some of them. He's in a size 2 diaper, almost a 3.
He loves his brother and sister, and they love him! When he was first born he was "the new baby". Now he has progressed to "Baby Jake".
