Yucky shots

Gracen with her cute little monogrammed onesie and pink bow. Gigi took her for a walk around the neighborhood. She loves taking walks.

Aunt Kristy got Gracen this precious little dress.

Aunt Sarah made this outfit for Gracen. Isn't the reindeer so cute! I wouldn't be surprised if her first word was "zebra".

I haven't put a picture of me with Gracen, so here you go.

I love this picture of Gracen. I think it's one of my favorites. Look at that smile. . . precious!

Well, Gracen got her shots on Monday. It was aweful! She cried (screamed) during: I cried (sobbed) after we left the doctor's office. She really did do good afterwards. She stopped crying before we ever left the room. She's a tough little girl. On Tuesday, Jeffrey had his first full day as Mr. Mom, and did great. He kept her while I was at work and then that night while I was at pokeno. Everyone's so impressed that I'm able to leave Gracen with him, but they're even more impressed when I tell them that he gives her a bath while I'm gone. What can I say, she lucky to have such a great daddy!

You asked for pictures

My first Turkey Day.

Gracen and Daddy taking a much needed nap. I went to the grand opening of a new gift shop in town: awesome! Jeffrey kept Gracen while I was gone. They read a book and talked. He gave her a bath. And when he was trying to get her dressed, she got fussy. And as you know it's hard trying to dress a fussy baby: especially when you try to put a footed onesie on backwards. He said common sense told him that the outfit would snap in the front. I said that common sense tells me to hold up a footed onesie BEFORE I tried to put it on her. She got to nap with it on backwards and unsnapped. Apparently it didn't ruin her nap too much. I fixed it when she woke up. We had a great laugh.
Gracen loves her swing. She's focused intently on the flashing lights (again, she loves animal print).
Another photo shoot to show off her pretty pink bow that Gigi (my mom) made her. Look at her toes. She either curls them under so tightly or flares them out so far.
Long hair: a blessing and a curse. Ok, so maybe this bad hair day was Mama inflicted.

Well, we went to the doctor last Monday for Gracen's 2 month check-up. She weighed 10lb 14oz (50th percentile) and was 23 1/2 inches (90th percentile). Dr.Stanley said she was perfect (like we didn't know). We are truly blessed to have such a healthy, happy baby!

PICTURES!!!

I think she may love animal prints as much as her Mama.
Daddy time. She loves her daddy. . .the feeling is mutual.
Another photoshoot: wearing her "Born in 2007" onesie and matching cap.
Doesn't her smile just melt your heart! She's a little camera shy, so I can only catch her smiling when she doesn't see it coming. But as much as I take pictures of her, I'm sure she'll get over it.
Grandpa admiring his "Little Britches". He could hold her all day every day. This little girl is so neglected!

Still Blogging

Hey, I haven't forgotten about this blog. I promise. Our computer is getting a memory upgrade, so I'm actually writing this from my work computer. I have several pictures to show when I finally get my computer back. Gracen is so much fun! Within the last couple of weeks she's really started to respond to us with a huge smile! She just smiles and talks all the time. It's the most precious thing I've every seen or heard. Well, she finally slept through the night Tuesday and last night! Hallelujah! I wake up about every hour starting at 2 a.m. wondering why she hasn't woken up, yet. I guess I'll have to learn how to sleep through the night along with her. Knowing myself like I do, I don't think it'll take too long. Gracen did the funniest thing last night (at least to me). I've been putting her in those fleece sacks with sleeves (whatever they're called) at night. Last night she had on a long sleeve shirt, pants, and socks. This morning when we woke up, she had somehow worked the pants and socks off in the bag. Isn't she talented! Well hopfully I can get some pictures us this weekend.

Happy Halloween

Gracen and I (mainly I) had some fun playing dress-up and photo-shoot. Doesn't she make the cutest pumpkin you've ever seen!

Getting Started

Well, I thought it was about time to get started with the online chatting. I've been wanting to start blogging for quite a while, but just never sat down to do it. I guess now's the time since I have a beautiful baby girl to share. Will post some pictures later when I figure all this blogging stuff out. Bye for now.
