Happy 6 months!

Jackson is 6 months old today.  I CANNOT believe it’s been 6 months since he was born.  It really does seem like it was maybe 2 months ago.  He has already blessed our lives so much in just half a year.  We can’t imagine our lives without him.  He is such a joy!  He is the happiest, most content baby!  We’ve entered my favorite stage of babyhood…sleeping in!  His internal clock goes off between 8-8:15 am.  He eats 6-7 ounces and a jar of baby food.  We play for a couple hours, and then he sleeps until around 12pm.  We repeat the pattern until bedtime around 9-9:30.  Most days his naps overlap with Gracen’s which is WONDERFUL!  I can actually mark a few things off my too do list.
Now for the stats:
We went to the Dr. on Monday and Jackson was 18lb 4oz (50%-75%), 28-1/2in (90%).  He’s a big boy!
He chews on anything he gets his hands on even though there are no teeth in sight, yet.
He should be seriously dehydrated after all the drooling! You might notice a few drops on his chin in several of these pictures.
His face lights up whenever he sees his big sister!!!
He grabs his feet all the time and chews on his yummy toes.
He can no longer be left unattended on the couch, chairs, etc.  I left him on his activity mat to go to the bathroom, and when I came back he had rolled from back, belly, back, belly, did a 180, was off the mat , under a dishcloth, with his feet under ottoman... and still smiling.
He can’t sit up by himself quite yet, a little too top heavy.  So we took a few pictures in the bumbo, but we’re getting close.  Think he’s found his shadow. And now for a few of my favorite pictures today of my 6 month old.



Oh yea, he also likes to talk and say, “mmm”.  Look at that sweet dimple.


Poor thing’s been battling respiratory issues for about a month but still smiling, snot and all.
