Gracen's dance recital was June 4. She LOVED it. She just asked me again yesterday if she could do her dance recital. She loved dancing on stage! She did a GREAT job...even if she did occationally get distracted by the backdrops! She was so precious! I was so proud of her!
We had a little entertainment (frustration for the teacher) at her first practice on stage. They started the class by finding their numbers and then practiced going off stage. Gracen was standing on the back row on the far right. At one point the teacher motioned for the girls to go in a big circle. She was supposed to follow Lola (the girl in front of her), but Gracen, and 3 other little girls, danced right off stage behind the curtain like they first practiced. She did this 3 times before she finally followed Lola around to the circle. I know the teacher was getting a little frustrated, but I was about to wet my pants! I really wish I had recorded the practice, too!

I really loved her recital this year!!! I'm so glad I got to watch her perform 3 times! Can't wait to get the video and watch her again! I'll try to upload the rehearsal video and pictures Stephanie took later!
